Race Day Triathlon Packing Checklist
While I personally believe checklists are like nutrition a very personal choice, there are obviously many common elements that ought to appear on any triathletes list i.e. the bike! Typically I find the checklists made available in various magazines and the like to be perhaps overly simplistic, and your own personal list is likely to mature in time.
With this is mind while preparing for my first tri of the season I thought I would share my own. Hopefully it will prove useful and provide the foundation for your own list. I keep a laminated hard copy in my transition bag for easy reference. Typically I would expect to make tweaks while packing depending on the distance of the event. There is a big difference preparing for a Super-Sprint distance versus say an Ironman event.
